If you would like to get involved in the Russian-American Institute, here are a number of practical ways to make this happen:
Become a financial supporter of RAI.
The institute is a private Russian educational institution registered in Moscow, with a not-for-profit partner corporation registered in the United States.Gifts for the Russian-American Institute, given through RAI/U.S., Inc., are therefore tax-exempt, and can be sent to RAI, P.O. Box 2007, Wheaton, Maryland, USA, 20915-2007.
In addition to accepting mail-in gifts, we are pleased to now offer an online giving option using PayPal. This electronic donation service provides an easy, efficient and safe way for supporters of the University to donate. To donate online, click "Make a Donation"
Our most important financial needs are for student scholarships and work-study grants, equipment for the classroom, library and offices, and support for the general operating budget. We would welcome your partnership through financial support.
Financial supporters also are mailed a monthly update, along with new issues of the "Reflections on Russia" or "Chronicles from Russia." We would gladly add your name to this mailing list if you are interested.
Become a prayer partner of the Russian-American Institute.
This web site introduces you to the mission and goals of the Russian-American Institute, the academic program of the institute and our impressive students. If you visit our web site each month, new developments will be highlighted for you in the "What's New?" section so you can be updated on a regular basis and can focus your prayers on specific aspects of the institute's life.
Build the RAI network by spreading the word.
Forward the Russian-American Institute's listserv on to friends or associates who may not know about us and might be interested in our work in Russia. You can also help us by encouraging friends and acquaintances who have an interest in Russia, Christian higher education, and/or post-Communist transitions to visit our web site. We'd appreciate your assistance in spreading the word about RAI – building awareness is a critical step that everyone can participate in!
Become a faculty member at RAI.
If you are qualified to teach on the college or university-level and would like to inquire about teaching opportunities at the Russian-American Institute, please visit the "Position Openings" page in the Faculty and Staff department on this web site and contact us for further information about both short-term and long-term opportunities in Moscow.
