At the end of April Irina Tubyanskaya, Chair of the Business and Economics Department, made a presentation at the International Scientific Conference “Modernization of Education in Condition of Globalization,” which took place in Pyatigorsk-city. Among such timely topics as “Strategy of Educational Development in Condition of Globalization,” “Innovative Education in Contemporary Times,” “Information and Telecommunication Technologies in Education,” etc., her presentation, "A Specialized Automated System in the Management of the Coordinated Educational Establishment," caused a sincere interest.
Tubyanskaya based her presentation on the RACU experience – this multi-cultural university has to integrate two educational systems: Russian and Western. She said, “Russian and foreign specialists have to work together, only then we can see concrete fruits – the working of a universal educational system, which harmoniously combines the best experience of Soviet times and Western educational system - more democratic, flexible, built on the principles of the market-driven economy.”
Optimization of the communicational structure in the sphere of higher education allows the administration of any university to benefit from new technology and to respond to its organizational challenges. That’s why the topic of Tubyanskaya’s presentation evoked a lively discussion among the participants at the conference: “The development level of informational technologies is a significant factor in the formation of administrative structure. Integration of informative resource allows the use of modern methods for evaluation of the educational process, to plan and effectively manage it. It is important to create an integrated informational space, which can provide optimal conditions for a high-quality educational process and also increase the speed of communications and administrative decision-making.” |
