The Russian-American Institute is in its fourteenth year of operation. For the first three years, the institute used offices and classrooms in a two-floor office building in southwest Moscow, a space the institute shared with four other organizations. When the institute outgrew this facility, we leased space from another university for three years. In 2002, we moved again to a new location. Our current facility is filled to capacity, and the school has no room for growth. In 2001, the Trustees authorized the purchase of a land lease in the northern part of Moscow, and the decision was made to build a new campus facility on this property. Architectural plans were drawn up, the necessary approvals were received by the Moscow city government, and construction began.
We invite you to view the plans for our new campus facility, to learn about its development, and to become acquainted with the team who designed the campus. You can even see the floor plans and imagine this space buzzing with activity from our students, staff and faculty.
When the Institute has finished this 46,000 square foot facility, it will be one of the few private educational universities in the country with its own campus. We invite you to join this historic undertaking and to become a financial supporter of RAI's new campus.
