The Russian-American Institute has formed partnerships with seven accredited liberal arts colleges and universities in the United States. These North American partners have agreed to support RAI's program by providing professors to teach courses while on sabbatical leave, assisting in the development of RAI's library, and providing counsel concerning its academic program. The relationship is designed to strengthen both the American and Russian partners and enhance international understanding in both countries.
