MEMBERSHIPS
In July 1997, the Russian-American Christian University
was accepted as an international affiliate of the Council for Christian
Colleges and Universities (CCCU), a cooperative association of Christ-centered
four year colleges and universities rooted in the liberal arts and offering
professional programs. The CCCU currently has over 90 members institutions
located in 29 states and Canada, and it's membership represents more than
30 different denominations and evangelical affiliations. All member institutions
are regionally accredited and some have been ranked among the leading college
and universities in the United States.
In September 1997, the Russian-American Christian University
was accepted as a member institution of the International Association
for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education (IAPCHE). This association
is a world-wide community of scholars and institutions which seeks to
develop a network that facilitates contact and mutual assistance, acts
as a catalyst for research and training, and encourages serious Biblical
responses to the critical issues of contemporary society. The IAPCHE currently
has over twenty-five member institutions in Korea, South Africa, Netherlands,
Indonesia, Canada and the United States.
The university became a member of the American Chamber of
Commerce in Moscow in December of 1998. The Chamber is the leading organization
representing business interests in the Russian Federation and currently
includes 495 member companies; the Chamber also includes non-profit organizations
and educational institutions.
In June 1999, the Russian-American Christian University
also joined the U.S.-Russia Business Council, the leading U.S.-based organization
representing American corporations active in the Russian market. The Council's
membership is made up of over 250 U.S. companies, U.S. subsidiaries of
foreign companies and non-profit organizations.
