RACU Reaches Another Milestone – Publishes First Yearbook

In September 2005, the Russian-American Christian University reached yet another milestone in its history as the first Christian liberal arts university in Russia. With the publication of its first yearbook, RACU joins other Russian universities in producing a quality scholarly journal.

In Russia, yearbooks – which are more like scholarly journals than the photo-albums we are accustomed to in the States – lend an air of credibility to scholarly institutions. They provide an outlet for members of a university’s faculty to publish their work, imparting legitimacy and authority to the institution as a whole.

RACU’s yearbook, called Dialog, featured articles from twelve members of RACU’s faculty, as well as articles by RACU's President, Dr. John A.Bernbaum, and RACU's Provost, Dr. David Broersma.

500 copies of Dialog were published and disseminated to students and RACU staff. The Russian public can obtain copies of Dialog by contacting the University’s publications office.
